Your welcome Medic and thanks for the kind words, hearing riders notice that i am approachable, laid back and personable, and as i like to say "just a bike geek" like everyone else is more important to me then any championships i could have ever won. I have already talked with Mike Here at PB to do a Q&A about Hyper in the near future and will address what bikes we will be producing.

I agree those types of bikes are really fun to ride and it doesn't mean that we won't have something like this in the future, and given our history in BMX it's a good fit. The reality is in our first year we can't come out with a complete line of bikes that suits each segment of the sport right out of the gate.

SlickShoe...the 4x DS bike is not scheduled to be part of the initial line, if we do one it will be a hard tail focused on Dirt Jump and Pump track stuff.

The idea of a Frame Set offering is on the table, but it will/would most likely be in limited numbers. Our primary focus right now is putting a quality line of completes together.

Eric Carter here. Thanks for the interest and comments...I want to clarify some stuff on here. From the product side of things, what I have been brought in to oversee the development of is not the Bicycles you see in Wal-Mart or Canadian Tire. Hyper does produce bikes at that level, but in regard to the above Press Release and topic in discussion Hyper is committed to doing higher end stuff for MTB's. Neither Waylon or I will be racing BMX bikes at Fontana or any other Mountain bike events. We are currently in the testing phase for our product line that I look forward to rolling out in the future. If you guys have any questions, fire em off and I will do my best to answer them.

Tires should be available late July early August..... music on the clip is a band called The B Foundation and the song name is Not The One.

Thanks for all the positive words on here, I am super excited for the consumer to try these things out its been a long time in development . To touch on the subject of the Happy Medium being a copy of the Maxxis high roller semi slick. If you take a closer look you'll see the size of the individual center knobs are bigger and the space between each center knob is bigger as well, this was designed into the tire to create more bite compared to other similar tires. The transition knob on the Maxxis and Michelin Semi slick is much smaller, the goal with the Happy Medium was to create a bigger transition knob for a more consistent feel when turning. There is no doubt there are similarities, to not only the Maxxis tire but also Michelin Comp 15.....I have ridden each one of these tires....and they may all look the same but they don't ride the same. I would love to see a Tire Test Comparison with all 3 of these tires and see which one gets the best review.

man i wish i could....would be awesome to do Whistler everyday of the summer. i can tell you these things are bomber.....i wrecked one of the hardest of my career last week at US Open...moved the stanchions in the fork crowns! bike held up flawless. Mic Hannah had his cartwheel into a rock garden and a day later took it to 2nd place at the World Cup in South Africa.
